Concerns I Treat:
who I work with:
I help perfectionists, people-pleasers, and highly sensitive people build healthier relationships and find joy in who you are, so you can manage your anxieties and enjoy life again.
As a high achiever, you want to be the person who has it all. You might have trouble asking for help because it’s easier to do it yourself. Or maybe you find it difficult to say no and disappoint people. You may be struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or ADHD. Your to-do list seems never-ending; no matter how much you do, you are never caught up. And focusing feels impossible. Longing for fulfilling relationships, you always seem to end up hurt, or feeling closed off from the world. Maybe you feel too sensitive for the modern world: uneasy under fluorescent lights, struggling in loud environments, or overwhelmed by sensory overload.
You know that something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to start. If you are having thoughts of “I’m not good enough” or find it hard to relax, I can help!
how therapy can help you:
I can help you rediscover who you are at your core, so you can enjoy life again and feel less constricted by your current lifestyle. Our work together will lighten the weight on your shoulders as we carry it together. Finding new ways to ask others for help, becoming more open to possibilities, and less focused on achievement and accomplishments will be the focus of our work together. If your goal is to connect more with others and become more grounded, even in uncomfortable situations, we will work together to make small changes so you can live your dream life. My approach to counseling and healing is heart-centered, as when connection forms, self-development follows.
I always knew I wanted to help others, but my life’s mission has been finding the how. I spent time in research fields, veterinary medicine, and even many years as an auto mechanic before I realized the common factor: people! I love hearing the experiences and stories of others. I also hold a deep love for our natural world and our connection to it as humans. In my spare time, you can find me spending time in nature. I love to hike, camp, snowboard, paddleboard, fire dance, and garden; I love reading and make sure to find a nice spot outside to enjoy my books! I love getting to snuggle with my two senior cats, Pants and Indy. You can also find me working on cars, whether it’s maintaining my daily driver or working on my amateur race car.
I am currently a master’s-level therapy intern, pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. I am a board member of Chi Sigma Iota, the counseling honors society and work to improve our program and connection among our community.
