who I work with:
I help adults who have experienced stress or trauma to develop better self-regulation skills so you can cope better in difficult situations.
People I work with are often seeking support for depression, anxiety, or difficulties in interpersonal relationships as a result of past trauma or stressful events. You may feel overwhelmed, have difficulty focusing, lack energy, or have difficulty sleeping. Feeling chronically stressed, emotionally dysregulated, or engaging in self-damaging behaviors may be driving you to seek support.
What happened to you in your past doesn’t have to define who you are now. You can grow and learn how to better figure out whatever life brings your way!

Life is difficult, but it can feel less challenging when you have better resources to navigate it with. Counseling with me can help you feel more hopeful, connected, and resilient. I will help you to build resources for better self-regulation that will help you feel more comfortable in your body. Our work together will also help you understand how to work with your physiology. Tools such as breathwork, meditation, and movement practices can help you learn to be more present and provide care for your internal experience. This empowering feeling will give you a greater sense of freedom, power, and choice.

about me:
With 10 years of experience in bodywork (massage therapy, yoga therapy, and TRE), I bring a wealth of experience to somatic aspects of therapy providing a more integrative approach. I have personal experience with religious deconstruction, I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink allied, and polyamory positive. My goal is to help you feel supported and empowered with the knowledge and resources you need to feel your best. I love my work, so that keeps me busy, but in my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my loved ones and two dogs.
