who I work with:

I help adults with anxiety, ADHD/autism, and grief to build your self-esteem, find your community, and rediscover meaning so you can feel confident as your authentic self. I also help members of the LGBQTIA+ community to discuss the strengths and challenges that accompany your identity.
You know the importance of community, support, and affirmation, but you’re having a hard time finding your people. Maybe you recently moved to a new area, and are trying to overcome the insurmountable task of going to social events or sending those follow-up texts, as is common in those with ADHD or autism. Maybe you’re overwhelmed with loneliness, don’t feel like yourself right now and just need to get through a low spot. Maybe you worry that you won’t ever be good enough or deserving of the same respect and care you give others.
If you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, these problems might feel exacerbated, or you may feel even more isolated. You may be feeling some shame around your identities or be having difficulties navigating your own thoughts around them. You don’t have to feel this way; I can help.
how therapy with me can help you:
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I know how important it is to feel seen in therapy. Therapy with me should feel like a genuine experience where you are welcome to discuss anything openly, make discoveries and share those tough emotions, and even laugh! You will get an empowering environment where you should leave feeling unburdened and hopeful about your future. You’ll learn not only to challenge yourself but also, to respect your own boundaries and expect the same from other people in your life. Together, we’ll practice how to develop a stronger sense of self, cultivate healthier relationships, and quiet some of the more negative voices in your head.
about me:

I’m a current graduate student, pursuing my master’s in social work at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. I am a United States Navy Veteran and during my service, became proficient in Mandarin Chinese, lived all over the country (Hawaii, California, Washington, Florida) and in both Japan and the Philippines. Since then, I have worked extensively with grief as a Donor Family Coordinator in the field of organ and tissue donation. In this experience, I found that I was very passionate about counseling and holding space for others in moments of vulnerability.
Outside of work, I consider myself a dabbler or a collector of hobbies. Any given weekend, you could find me doing… just about anything you could think of. I might be knitting, paddleboarding, learning a language, gardening, running, grooming my dogs, throwing pottery, rock climbing, playing a video game, roller skating, at a concert, taking some new class, or holding down the fort at an art market.
