who I work with:

I help adults with trauma and ADHD, pregnant and postpartum women, and other therapists who feel overwhelmed and unsupported to regain your life back, so you can once again feel whole. You might be a new mom that feels like a failure because “momming” isn’t the ideal experience you see on social media. Or perhaps you are newly diagnosed with ADHD and your sense of identity is shaken. Maybe you experienced a trauma that your family and friends seem to dismiss or you never worked through, and now it’s affecting your relationships. Finally, you might be a therapist in the field who is looking for extra support to manage the difficult work you do everyday.

I’ve worked with many clients just like you, and I can help. I provide supportive listening, coping skills, EMDR if indicated, understanding and resources as you grapple with all that is affecting you. You can get through this!

how therapy can help you:

I will help you by first normalizing what you’re going through. Life, in particular significant events that occur whether expected or not, is hard! Having a traumatic past, an unanticipated event, a new diagnosis, or a significant life change can affect everyone in different ways. I have advanced training in trauma including EMDR, perinatal mental health, and ADHD treatment, in addition to many years of experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, and relationships. I'm also well-versed in vicarious trauma and know that this can be treated so you don't burn yourself out. You don’t have to suffer in silence - let’s get your life back.

about me:

I believe in addressing the whole health needs of you as a person, and my dedication, creativity, and flexibility as a therapist are my greatest strengths. My holistic approach to anxiety, ADHD, relationships and trauma helps you feel in control and creates a welcoming environment for you to share your vulnerabilities, fears, and experiences.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and use it to treat anxiety and trauma, and I constantly work at creating an atmosphere for you of safety and light. I have extensive experience working with people with a variety of other issues including depression, trauma, anxiety, vicarious trauma, relationships, grief and loss, and caregiver stress. I have two elementary-aged kids and I myself experienced birth trauma and also postpartum mood issues that may help me better understand your unique situation. I love doing yoga, playing volleyball, and being in the mountains.
