Absolutely. We understand. You're not even sure you want to be in any type of counseling, much less a group! You're getting anxious even just thinking about it. And guess what? You're not the only one. Almost everyone is nervous to try therapy or group for the first time. We know this and we talk about this openly during the very first group session.
And, good news, this is not your typical therapy group. In the Intro to Mental Wellness and Counseling Group, you're only committing to 6 sessions. And there is no requirement for opening up and sharing your pain with others. Instead, this group gives you a good introduction to what counseling is all about. You'll also learn some invaluable skills and have fun while you're doing it.
