We're Alicia Kwande and Kristen Dammer, experienced stress-relief counselors and group facilitators. We help adults just like you go from feeling overwhelmed and discouraged about upcoming stressful times to being more intentional about your choices so you can enjoy sacred time with your friends and family!
What is a Workshop like?
We know that transitions or stressful times of the year can feel overwhelming. That's why we offer one-time only workshops for people just like you to come together and get real solutions for managing your stress. This is the time when you can really use a supportive group of people around you, and learn how to slow down your racing mind and set an intentional to-do list.
Our workshops bring together up to 12 participants and 2 workshop leaders, who are also experienced mental health professionals. In these workshops, we provide you with easy-to-learn skills and techniques that you can use to approach the upcoming changes with intention. The workshop is a time for you to spend together with your thoughts and ideas for how you want to approach the holidays, new year, or summertime instead of how you've done it in the past.
Do I have to participate? This is a common question that we get asked. No, you don't have to participate, but you will probably get more out of the workshop if you share with others your particular stressors and situations. It can be healing to know that you're not alone, and that others are feeling the same way you are.
