who I work with:
I help adults with anxiety, trauma, or late-diagnosed ADHD/ASD to make sense of their experiences, improve self-worth, and better manage their daily lives.
You have been through a lot and you may not fully understand how much your past is still affecting you today. Maybe you find yourself flooded with anxiety or panic that seems to come from nowhere. Or maybe your relationships keep falling into the same patterns and you feel like you are holding it together, but struggling on the inside. It may feel like each day is getting harder and you are not sure where to begin.
If you are a trauma survivor, you may experience waves of depression, anxiety, or panic that seems out of your control. You may also find yourself grieving what your life could have looked like if those experiences had never happened. If your brain has always worked a little differently, you may have spent years masking just to keep up, carrying shame, and wondering why things feel so hard. You may find yourself grieving what life could have looked like with an earlier diagnosis of ADHD or autism and are struggling to make sense of your own story.
Whether you a trauma survivor, a newly embracing a neurodivergent identity, struggling with anxiety or depression, or still unsure about what may be going on inside of you, you do not have to keep figuring it out alone. I can help.
how therapy with me can help you:
Taking that first step toward healing can feel overwhelming and it makes sense that you may feel nervous. If you have been carrying the weight of past experiences, anxiety, or years of wondering why things feel so difficult, reaching out for change takes real courage. Therapy with me will be a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space where we can explore your experiences together, at your own pace. My goal is for you to feel seen and heard, leaving each session with a deeper understanding of yourself.
Together we will work to understand how the trauma from your past is affecting you today, how to recognize your triggers, and build more self-compassion. We may also explore how your relationships and experiences have shaped the different parts of who you are and how they show up in your life now. Healing looks different for everyone and I want to meet you wherever you are on that journey. Whether you are just beginning to make sense of your experiences or have been doing this work for a while, you deserve support that honors your pace and your story.
about me:
I am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Walden University. After over eight years of walking alongside people through some of their most difficult moments as a peer specialist, I knew it was time to take that next step into the counseling field. My own lived experience with trauma and neurodivergence, along with over ten years of personal therapy, has helped to shape who I am and how I show up for my clients. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, and I may incorporate IFS informed parts work as we explore your experiences together. My work is also informed by attachment theory and the mind-body connection, with CBT techniques woven in along the way.
Growing up as an Air Force brat, I moved around a lot and learned early on that everyone carries a unique story worth understanding. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and it is something I bring into my work every day. I am a mom to one amazing son and a very important dog named French Fry. When I'm not in session, I enjoy going for drives, singing my favorite songs loudly and without shame, immersing myself in an intuitive painting session, or getting lost in a good fantasy or sci-fi story. Every story matters and it would be my honor to walk alongside you in yours.
