Safety Assessment and Intervention

Explore how to conduct an appropriate safety assessment and how to intervene when a client under your care is experiencing suicidal or homicidal ideation, or is exhibiting signs of grave disability due to a severe mental illness or crisis. This training will also cover how to prioritize your own safety while getting your client the help they need, who to call, how to provide concise but useful information, and how to follow up to ensure that your client is safe and receiving appropriate treatment.
